My family recipe for real Turkish humus which is super easy, quick and delicious.

Equipment

  • Hand blender
  • Tall jug/container

Ingredients
  

  • 540 g Cooked chickpeas Drained
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2.5 tbsp Tahini

Instructions
 

  • Using a hand blender and a tall jug, blend the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and salt together.
  • Add the chickpeas and tahini and blend until smooth.
  • Add more lemon and salt to taste, or a drop of water if it’s too thick.
  • Serve with a dash of paprika, a drizzle of olive oil and a black olive for garnish.
